BioP2P Network launches free directory and resources to support the scale-up of products in the US for the bioeconomy
The BioProcess to Product (BioP2P) Network is an initiative of the California Biomanufacturing Center aimed at supporting the biomanufacturing community in the United States for the growing bioeconomy. A central mission of the BioP2P Network is to develop a national inventory of validated, scale-up facilities that serves as a free resource to the biomanufacturing community, www.biomanufacturing.net/the-directory/ This searchable directory allows developers to readily identify and partner with toll manufacturing facilities as they move from bench to commercial scale production.
The BioP2P Network also provides a platform to showcase additional resources for the biomanufacturing community such as regional training and workforce programs, maps to feedstocks, innovations in technology and a career center. The BioP2P Network is supported by Schmidt Futures, a philanthropic initiative of Eric and Wendy Schmidt.
