Liberation Labs CEO Mark Warner told AgFunderNews that existing U.S. biomanufacturing facilities are inadequate to make the next-generation of bioproducts at the cost and scale that will be necessary.

In an interview with AgFunderNews’ Elaine Watson, he said what’s are modern facilities that can produce a broad range of outputs from enzymes to dyes at a cost that will allow them to compete.

Liberation Labs is constructing a facility with 600,000-liters of new biomanufacturing capacity in Indiana to produce ingredients through precision fermentation. The facility is designed for both foods and non-foods.
